Job summary

Shine Solutions, an Australian IT consultancy, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and support secure, scalable cloud solutions for government projects. You’ll work with developers, stakeholders and operations teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance is required. You will drive CI/CD automation using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to reusable tooling

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP in regulated environments.
• Government projects with security‑focused environments.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash for automation and migration tasks.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of security, performance and accessibility (non‑functional requirements).
• Ability to influence decisions and contribute to reusable templates or tooling.
