Job summary

Delivery Centric in Sydney is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and EKS. The role will focus on designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, infrastructure automation,container platforms and CI/CD environments.

The successful candidate will also contribute to cloud optimisation, security, troubleshooting and the adoption of AI-assisted automation across DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch and EKS.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python or similar.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and core cloud concepts.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, availability and cost optimisation.
• Experience troubleshooting production cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development, security and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and IaC.
• Build, configure and maintain Kubernetes environments, with strong hands-on experience in Amazon EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and application deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance and availability, and implement improvements where required.
