Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, Automation Engineering or similar technical operations roles.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs and webhooks.

• Discover repetitive operational tasks and identify automation opportunities.

• Develop scripts, workflows, and AI-assisted solutions that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation rather than simply managing infrastructure.

In this role, you'll work closely with L1, L2 and L3 operational teams to identify inefficient processes, build practical automation solutions, and help engineers spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time delivering value.

What You’ll Do

• Discover repetitive operational tasks and identify automation opportunities.
• Build automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, APIs, Azure, CI/CD and cloud integrations.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and AI-assisted solutions that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Create documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer to ensure long-term adoption.
• Continuously improve and support automations based on operational feedback and business needs.

About You

• Experience in DevOps, Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, MSP, SOC or similar technical operations roles.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs and webhooks.
• A practical mindset with a passion for solving operational problems through automation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Terraform, Bicep or Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender or Sentinel exposure.
• AI-assisted automation, Copilot or Azure OpenAI experience.
• MSP or MSSP experience.
