Job summary

MAB is recruiting a Senior Development Manager for the Gasworks project in Adelaide. You will drive delivery of apartment stages from feasibility to completion, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with consultants, government authorities and contractors.

You will shape product mix, pricing and staging while ensuring robust cash flow, budgets and timelines across a high-density urban renewal program.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7–10 years of development experience in higher-density apartments.
• Thorough understanding of the full development lifecycle, with strong design, approvals and delivery capability.
• Experience managing complex feasibilities, project forecasts and cash flow, using Estate Master or similar software.
• Strong consultant leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Bluestone Recruitment is partnering with MAB to appoint a Senior Development Manager to work on the Brompton Gasworks project in Adelaide.

MAB is an established private property developer with over 30 years of experience, having completed more than $6 billion of developments across Victoria and South Australia. Their diverse portfolio spans residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments.

Located in the thriving Bowden precinct, The Gasworks development is set to deliver a masterplanned village with townhouses, apartments, hotel, commercial hub and a commitment to provide in excess of 15% affordable housing.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a complex urban renewal project, taking responsibility for apartment stages from initial feasibility and design through to construction, settlement and completion.

The Role – Senior Development Manager

Reporting to the Development Director and based in MAB's Adelaide office, you will drive the commercial performance and delivery of allocated apartment stages. Working closely with internal development, project management, finance, sales and marketing teams, with a focus on design quality, project returns and delivery outcomes.

• Managing project feasibilities, budgets, cash flow, forecasting and development programmes.

About You

You will bring proven apartment development experience, strong commercial judgement and the ability to drive outcomes across complex projects.
