Job summary
Origin Energy is recruiting a Senior Development Engineer - Power Generation to partner with Development Managers delivering complex infrastructure projects across firming energy, renewables, and data centre initiatives across Australia.
You will lead technical assessments, develop specifications and manage scopes across EPC, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support Origin's energy transition strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience in the energy sector and major infrastructure projects.
- Strong project engineering experience within power generation or firming energy.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence technical outcomes.
- Engineering qualifications and a passion for advancing Australia's evolving energy landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical assessments, feasibility studies and due diligence for major energy projects.
- Develop technical specifications and manage engineering, procurement and construction scopes.
- Support the delivery of greenfield and brownfield power generation projects through development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, regulators and external stakeholders.
