Job summary

Coates Hire is seeking a Senior Developer in Sydney to lead the design, development, and enhancement of scalable software across our digital ecosystem. You will own end-to-end delivery and mentor a high-performing team while partnering with stakeholders to shape technical direction.

Play a pivotal role in driving architecture, performance optimization, and secure coding practices, with hands-on work in C#/.NET, React.js, Vue.js and SQL, and exposure to Azure PaaS.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years’ experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in C# .NET, React.js, Vue.js, and SQL.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and applying design patterns.
• Proven ability to optimise performance and resolve complex technical issues.
• Solid understanding of web security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Azure (PaaS preferred).
• Strong data modelling and SQL optimisation skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading development from concept to production.
• Exceptional communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others.
