Job summary

Recoded in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a growing technology team. You will work across C#/.NET backend services and React/Redux front-end applications, owning database, APIs, cloud infrastructure and UI.

You’ll join an environment where engineers take ownership of features, contribute to technical decisions and operate in a modern AWS-based technology stack.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing with C#/.NET backend and React/Redux frontend.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and multi-tier architectures.
• Hands-on use of AWS services and modern cloud patterns.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and database design.
• Security-focused authentication/authorisation knowledge (OAuth2/OIDC/Auth0/Cognito).
• Experience implementing automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production-grade applications across the full technology stack
• Develop backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
• Build responsive single-page applications using React and Redux
• Take ownership of features from data storage and backend services through to the user interface
• Design and develop RESTful APIs across multi-tier web applications
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure including EKS, S3, IAM and VPC networking
• Build and operate containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across integration, UAT and production environments
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational database technologies, including database design and query optimisation
• Implement authentication and authorisation using technologies such as OAuth2, OIDC, Auth0 and Amazon Cognito
• Contribute to automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end testing
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development and code review practices
• Contribute to the ongoing design, development and improvement of the platform

What you’ll bring

• Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET
• Strong experience building production front-end applications using React and Redux
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of modern full stack application architecture
• Production experience working within AWS environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications
• Hands-on experience with Docker and EKS
• Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Strong relational database experience, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience with modern authentication and authorisation architectures
• Good understanding of automated testing practices
