Job summary

Hudson AU is seeking two Senior Developers in Brisbane CBD for a contract role with a 6-month extension option. You will work across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Power Platform and Azure, designing, building, testing and supporting components in a collaborative government transformation program.

You’ll prototype quickly, challenge design decisions, and create reusable modules. Deep hands-on skills in PCF, Azure services and AI tooling will help you stand out.

Qualifications

• Breadth across Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse architectures.
• Proven experience building and configuring across the Microsoft stack.
• Experience with PCF controls, TypeScript/React preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and support components across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Power Platform and Azure.
• Prototype quickly, test assumptions early and promote modular reusable solutions.

Senior Developers x2 | Dynamics 365, Power Platform & Azure Brisbane CBD | Contract + 6-month extension option | Queensland Government

A large Queensland Government transformation program is in its build stage. It needs two Senior Developers who are equally comfortable writing code and configuring the platform, across the whole Microsoft stack from Dataverse to Azure.

The program The program is building a modern enterprise ecosystem that can adapt and evolve over time. It covers:

• A customer portal
• CRM
• A modern data platform
• An integration platform

The goal is a simpler, more secure experience for customers, and streamlined processes and decisions driven by data for the business.

The roles Both roles report to the Senior Project Manager and sit in an internal delivery team with architects, functional analysts, testers, data specialists and business stakeholders. You’ll design, build, test and support components across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Power Platform and Azure.

This isn’t a role for working through tickets. You’ll prototype quickly, test assumptions early and challenge designs that tick the requirement but add friction for users. You’ll also build reusable, modular components that other teams can pick up.

What will set you apart

We’re particularly keen to hear from developers with hands-on, demonstrable depth in:

• PCF controls: custom field controls built in TypeScript, JavaScript and React, integrated with Dataverse
• Azure: Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, App Services, APIM and API integration, Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Key Vault
• AI: GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI

Core experience

• Dynamics 365 CE development in C# / .NET
• Dataverse: plug-ins, custom APIs, business process automation, security model, Web API
• Power Platform: model-driven apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, solution packaging
• JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML
• Azure DevOps: Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, release management
• ALM: managed solutions, environment strategy, deployment automation
• Integration: REST APIs, Service Bus, event-driven architecture
• Agile delivery: Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation

Well regarded

• Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, Dataverse Link to Fabric
• Event Grid, managed identities, enterprise monitoring patterns
• Playwright or other automated testing frameworks
• Infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform)
• Dynamics 365, Power Platform or Azure certifications
• Experience in government, regulated or multi-vendor environments
