Job summary

Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure NSW is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Parramatta to bridge development and operations, enabling faster, more reliable delivery of cloud-based services. You will design, implement and evolve DevOps practices across Azure-based platforms, automation tools and software solutions for NSW digital services.

The role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll help bridge the gap between software development and operations, enabling faster, smarter and more reliable technology delivery.

Working across cloud platforms, automation tools and software solutions, you'll design and implement modern DevOps practices that improve service reliability, security and scalability. You'll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors to solve complex challenges, modernise platforms and support the delivery of digital services that make a real difference across NSW.

This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while helping shape the future direction of cloud and DevOps capability within DPHI.

What you will bring to the role

• Experience designing, building and supporting cloud-based solutions and platforms
• Experience in Microsoft Azure is preferable

What is an essential requirement

• Tertiary qualification, recognised industry certification and/or equivalent industry experience.
