Job summary

Boart Longyear is seeking a Demand Planning Manager at Adelaide Airport, Australia. You will lead the Demand and Market pillars of the SIOP process, consolidating regional forecasts into a single unconstrained plan and aligning with commercial and financial goals.

Key responsibilities include governance of the Demand Review, developing scenario models, managing forecast accuracy, and collaborating with Supply Planning, sales, operations and finance to optimise service levels and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
• MBA and APICS CPIM/CSCP are preferred.
• 7–12 years’ experience in demand planning or SIOP environments across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Review phase of the SIOP cycle with governance and cadence across regions.
• Consolidate regional forecasts into a single unconstrained demand plan and align with commercial/financial goals.
• Provide leadership to regional demand planners, drive forecasting discipline and capability uplift.
• Deliver advanced forecasting analytics, scenario modelling, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Integrate new product introductions and lifecycle changes into demand plans.
• Partner with Supply Planning to align demand with inventory strategies and optimize service and working capital.
• Govern CRM systems and sales pipeline data, ensuring data integrity and cross-functional visibility.
• Translate demand insights into revenue, margin, and growth implications and align with Finance.
