Job summary

Parkview Constructions is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to ensure quality standards, deliver design intent, and coordinate technical details across clients, consultants and subcontractors on high-profile Sydney projects.

You will oversee quality management from start to finish, supporting the design team to keep works aligned with the programme and design documentation. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of quality and design for structures, services, finishes and façades.
• Proven experience on large-scale ($40M+) high-rise residential projects.
• Familiar with Sydney’s construction market and key subcontractors.
• Proactive problem-solving, clear communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures.
• Identify issues and lead development of solutions.
• Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists for compliance.
• Review on-site quality of subcontract works and liaise with the project team.
• Review commissioning and testing related to services.
• Facilitate resolution of design and coordination issues among client, consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage flow of technical information between design disciplines and stakeholders.
• Manage design team to align works with programme and documentation.
• Review consultant and subcontractor output for design brief compliance.
• Check tender package content for scope, materials and design logic.
• Provide technical support to all project team members.
