Job summary

Urban Utilities in Fortitude Valley, Queensland is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to turn operational data into insight and standardise processes across the organisation. You will deliver reporting that informs decisions and drive improvements that connect daily operations to KPIs.

Reporting to the Operational Performance Leader, you’ll map processes, perform gap analyses, and support governance while championing continuous improvement across systems and teams.

Qualifications

• Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Experience creating performance-based reporting.
• Proficiency mapping processes with BPMN 2.0 and Visio.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dynamic prioritisation of team responsibilities and drive faster execution on opportunities.
• Analyse business trends to produce reports and recommendations.
• Map end-to-end processes using BPMN 2.0 to enable improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data collection with KPIs and strategy.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance through documentation and analysis.
