Job summary

Mane Consulting is seeking a passionate Data Modeller for a 12-month contract within their Technology team in Sydney. The role requires crafting Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models and delivering expansive data models for diverse business lines using Agile, microservices, and multi-application integrations.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and the Microsoft BI stack, with 3–5 years of data modeling and data engineering experience

Qualifications

• Experience designing Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models.
• Strong knowledge of data vault, dimensional, and physical data modeling.
• Experience with Azure data and analytics platforms and Microsoft BI stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design project data models aligned to Enterprise information model using conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Partner with platform architects, data scientists, and analytics professionals to establish a data modelling vision.
• Expand the modeling vision and identify ways to enrich data.
• Lead data modeling for a new Azure data and analytics platform.
• Ensure data performance and consistency by applying best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with data governance and quality teams to incorporate processes into models.
• Lead cross-functional agile workstreams with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and product managers.
