Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Commonwealth Government organisation in Canberra for a Lead Data Modeller. You will lead enterprise semantic models, governance, and KPI design to empower strategic decision making across government programs.

Collaborate with data architects to translate business requirements into dimensional and semantic models, develop Snowflake-based data warehouse designs, perform complex SQL transformations, and deliver BI-ready presentation layers.

Qualifications

Lead enterprise data modelling activities in large, complex environments.
Translate business requirements into logical, physical and semantic models.
Work with Snowflake, SQL transformations and validation against business metrics.
Proficient in ER modelling and data governance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of enterprise semantic models, datasets, KPIs, and metrics.
Collaborate with stakeholders and data architects to capture requirements and model accordingly.
Design and develop enterprise dimensional models using star schema principles.
Develop analytical data models in the data warehouse with presentation layers and SQL transforms.
Maintain reusable semantic models in BI tools to support enterprise reporting.
