Job summary

Xero is seeking a data engineer to design and build data solutions at scale, from ingestion through modelling, owning complex problems end-to-end and delivering reliable platforms.

You will help raise technical standards, improve data quality, and create a more self-serve analytics environment while collaborating with product and security teams to solve real customer problems at scale. The role supports a hybrid work model with office days in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience building end-to-end data platforms with ingestion, modelling and pipelines.
• Strong IaC practices using Terraform for data platforms.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, Prefect, and AWS.
