TMGM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build a high-throughput real-time data ecosystem across Sydney and Mainland China. You will design scalable data solutions, implement ETL/ELT pipelines, and support financial analytics using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Airflow, and ClickHouse.

You will work hands-on in Python and SQL, creating robust data processing pipelines, optimizing complex queries, and deploying services in cloud environments with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven data engineering experience with ETL in cloud environments.
• Finance/trading tech experience with real-time data handling.
• Strong Python programming for robust data pipelines.
• Extensive SQL knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and improve scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build real-time messaging and stream processing with Kafka and RabbitMQ for sub-second data availability.
• Work with ClickHouse to optimise schema, indexing, and queries for large datasets.
• Deploy data services in cloud environments with security controls and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor team members through code reviews.
