Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead complex data challenges within our Data, AI, Loyalty and Analytics team. You’ll design reliable data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow and Snowflake to support enterprise reporting, self-service analytics and AI use cases.

You’ll influence data solutions across teams, mentor engineers, and help ensure governance, testing, observability and operational readiness while delivering value at pace.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or related field.
• Strong Python, SQL and dbt skills.
• Hands-on Airflow experience and data pipeline design.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with data governance, testing and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of trusted data products for reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.
• Build production data pipelines and reusable transformation frameworks.
• Design dimensional models, Data Vault and semantic layers.
