Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on dbt experience (Core/Cloud) with macro development and modular SQL/Python models.
• Strong GCP, BigQuery performance tuning and cost-optimisation.
• Expertise in Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelling (Star schemas, SCDs).
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience securing banking data with policy tags and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead dbt design, project structure, and best practices for data estate.
• Architect scalable GCP Lakehouse solutions across BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Run, GKE.
• Drive Data-as-Code with automated tests and Git-driven CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across data products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within squads and teams.
