Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the cloud-based data foundation, integrating analytics, finance, risk and regulatory reporting capabilities. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver trusted data solutions and a unified data view across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data modelling, robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and secure, scalable implementations using Snowflake, DBT, Informatica IICS and AWS within an Agile

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data warehouse and business intelligence development.
• Demonstrated capability in data migration, data modelling and data warehouse design.
• End-to-end experience across data modelling, ETL or ELT development, reporting and visualisation.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, DevOps, Informatica IICS and AWS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Build and manage end-to-end ETL and ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Define data models that support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Deliver scalable and secure solutions using Snowflake, DBT, Informatica IICS, AWS and DevOps tools.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
