Synechron in Adelaide is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. You will design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure, Fabric, and Databricks, optimise large datasets, and translate client needs into robust data solutions.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and engage directly with clients to align data strategy with business goals. A strong consulting background and 5+ years in data engineering are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years data engineering experience with strong consulting background.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Fabric.
• Strong programming skills in Python & SQL.
• Hands-on data modelling, data ingestion, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau).

• Design scalable data pipelines that drive transformation using Azure, Fabric, and Databricks.
• Optimise performance and scalability of large data workflows.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data strategy and BI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
