What you might work on:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you are the architect of impact—ensuring that complex government data is not just stored, but strategically leveraged.

• Architect and Build: Design robust pipelines that handle complex, sensitive data with high reliability.
• Graph Intelligence: Use graph analytics to uncover hidden relationships and patterns within massive datasets.
• AI Integration: Lay the groundwork for AI-driven insights by ensuring high-quality, high-velocity data flows.
• Security & Sovereignty: Ensure all data solutions meet the stringent security and compliance requirements of the Australian public sector.

You might work with:

• Graph Tech: Neo4j or similar graph database platforms.
• Core Engineering: Advanced Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Modern Data Stack: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and cloud-native services (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Innovation: AI and Machine Learning frameworks for data transformation.

Note:

Due to the nature of our government projects, you must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to obtain a security clearance, or already hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, or NV2) issued by AGSVA or the AFP.
