Job summary

University of Wollongong seeks a Senior Manager, Data Engagement & Analytics to lead delivery of analytics that inform university decisions. You will guide the analytics roadmap, build trusted stakeholder partnerships and nurture a data-driven culture across the organisation.

You’ll oversee self-service analytics, lead a multidisciplinary team, and translate complex business challenges into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or data analytics experience in higher education.
• Experience leading data analytics and insights functions with competing priorities.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning and predictive modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed analytics into business processes, supporting change and prioritising work to deliver outcomes aligned with University objectives.
• Oversee design and delivery of self-service analytics solutions and innovative data products and insights.
• Manage projects, requests and enhancements that support the Enterprise Data roadmap.
• Lead a multidisciplinary analytics team, balancing workload and building capability.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into trusted insights.
