Job summary

STACK Infrastructure APAC is seeking an experienced Senior ICT Server Infrastructure Project Engineer to lead the design, deployment, commissioning and handover of highly available server, storage and virtualization infrastructure for new data centre projects.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, ICT Engineering, this delivery-focused role requires strong System Integrator project experience and hands-on expertise in server hardware, SAN/NAS storage, virtualisation and clustered platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT or CS.
• Minimum five years in a System Integrator project-delivery role.
• Hands-on server hardware, SAN/NAS storage, and virtualization experience.
• Experience with data centre or large IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, commissioning and handover of server/storage/virtualisation infrastructure for new data centres.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant platforms including VMware and Hyper-V environments.
• Produce sizing, BOMs, rack elevations and cabling/port schedules for server/storage builds.
• Coordinate with ICT vendors to meet project timelines and delivery goals.
• Develop and execute test scripts for HA, replication, backup/restore and performance validation.
• Oversee transition and handover of services to operations and support teams.
