Job summary

Specsavers Australia ANZ seeks a seasoned Data Business Analysis leader to drive the regional function while remaining hands-on with data analysis tasks. The role blends leadership (20–30%) with hands-on analytics (70–80%), guiding a team and shaping data requirements for strategic initiatives.

You will partner with business leaders and tech teams to translate needs into actionable requirements and ensure high-quality data solutions across the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in Data, Analytics or Technology.
• Proven people leadership experience including coaching and capability development.
• Strong track record delivering analysis across large, complex programs.
• Experience establishing and improving Data Business Analysis practices and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Data Business Analysts.
• Establishing and improving data business analysis standards and tools.
• Driving quality and consistency across analysis practices.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business, functional and data requirements.
• Translating business needs into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Supporting delivery of data products and strategic initiatives.
• Partnering with business leaders, technology teams and global stakeholders.
