Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking a Data Architect in Sydney to lead the end-to-end data architecture, governance, and platform design. The role focuses on building scalable data models, data warehouses, and data products aligned with the technology direction.

You will drive data mesh concepts and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance and reusable data solutions across the enterprise, while contributing to the data technology roadmap and delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven data architecture design and governance capabilities.
• Experience building and governing data platforms and BI capabilities.
• Hands-on with data warehouses (Redshift, Teradata) and big data tools.
• Knowledge of data mesh concepts and data product thinking.

Responsibilities

• Define and design the data modelling, architecture, and governance roadmap.
• Define and design data platforms, tools, and governing processes.
• Shape BI strategy and tooling go-forward.
• Ensure data solution and data product architectures progress through governance (ARB).
• Define reusable data solutions with scalability and best practices.
• Evolve data technology roadmap to meet evolving business needs.
• Improve integration with other enterprise solutions and guidelines.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and workshops with architects and PMs.
• Lead Work Breakdown structures and architecture input sessions.
