Job summary

Altis Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Managing Consultant to lead Data & Analytics projects, architect high-quality solutions, and guide teams through the full development lifecycle. You will translate business requirements into robust data warehouse and BI strategies, while driving client value and performance improvements.

You’ll mentor junior staff, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to proposals and growth through strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience linking and translating business requirements into Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Analytics solutions.
• Data integration with a variety of data sources and tools to extract, transform, and load data
• Good skills in data modelling, data ingestion, and ETL design
• Experience in cloud Technologies (AWS or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and awareness of industry trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A background in consulting and professional services.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related subject, or relevant work experience
• 5–7 years of consulting and implementation experience
• 5–7 years broad IT experience
• 5+ years experience of leading data & analytics tools
• 5+ years delivering projects in a client facing environment
• Experience with Data Bricks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Data & Analytics projects on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
• Design and develop high-quality business and technical solutions that improve performance and unlock opportunities for our clients.
• Take ownership of your work, bringing autonomy, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, effective Data & Analytics solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay ahead of industry, technology, and methodology trends to bring fresh thinking to every project.
• Lead small to medium project teams, providing both technical and team leadership.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to help them grow and succeed.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines, implement data engineering solutions, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Contribute to proposals, identify new opportunities, and support Altis’ growth.
• Help develop and refine Altis methodologies and project collateral.
