Job summary

RAC WA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a large-scale reporting and data transformation initiative within Roadside Services in Western Australia. The role focuses on accurate, reliable insights as data sources evolve, collaborating with data engineers and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI skills, statistical know-how, and the ability to travel between West Perth and Joondalup. 12-month max-term contract with salary as compensation.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL, Excel and Power BI reporting and visualisation skills.
• Applied knowledge of statistical tools and techniques.
• Advanced analysis, problem solving and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to document reporting requirements and data definitions.
• Validate data mappings and reporting logic during transformation/migration.
• Update and enhance existing reports and dashboards for accuracy.
• Conduct testing and QA to ensure reporting integrity.
• Investigate data discrepancies and report issues.
• Work with technical teams to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs.
• Assist with improvements and optimisations as time permits.
