About the company

Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Senior Data Analyst. This position is located in their busy Adelaide office for an initial 6-month contract.

About the Position

You would be managing a small team and assist with the development of work plans by coaching, mentoring and training staff. With a variety of tools, research and solve organisational issues and identify trends and insights to support organisational outcomes.

Duties

  • Control and assist with the data management process, including loading, creating, maintaining, analysing and distributing data
  • Assist in the processing of data and develop data standards and provide input to strategy for the solution
  • Manage globally controlled master data elements and monitor data quality by undertaking periodic audits
  • Prepare correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by executive staff
  • Develop data standards and provide input to strategy for the solution
  • Detect data inconsistencies and utilise defined error-handling procedures

Requirements/Skills

  • Experience in supervising and developing staff capability
  • Ability to research and make decisions based on good judgement, expertise and knowledge
