Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of data governance and analytics and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical organisational or policy contexts.
• Experience providing high-level technical, strategic or policy advice across complex issues involving data, analytics, governance, or digital and emerging technology initiatives.
• Strong project planning, coordination and delivery skills across governance, data, analytics and emerging technology initiatives.
• Well-developed written communication skills with experience preparing briefs, discussion papers, reports and governance materials.
• Strong verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical, policy and business areas.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to research issues, interpret information and provide clear advice.

Responsibilities

• Supports effective use of data governance, data analytics and emerging technologies to strengthen decision-making and outcomes across the Department.
• Contributes to strategic planning, policy development and governance by preparing briefs and discussion papers.
