The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Senior Data Adviser to strengthen data governance and data quality across critical government platforms. You will work with Informatica MDM, Data Quality, and Azure data pipelines to cleanse and enhance data.

Based in Melbourne, this fixed-term role requires 3 days in the office weekly and a Working with Children Check. You will lead data policy translation, support testing and assurance teams, and drive continuous improvement across data

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on development/analysis/administration experience working with complex data.
• Strong SQL skills and data profiling experience.
• Experience with ETL, data quality tooling, and data governance.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day data governance and stewardship activities while ensuring data integrity.
• Monitor and analyse data using advanced tools and pipelines (Informatica, Azure).
• Translate regulatory rules into data policies, standards and controls.
• Support testing and assurance teams with data analysis and validation.
• Drive continuous improvement of data validation, matching logic and ETL performance.
