Job summary

Countersight, a Canberra-based cybersecurity consultancy, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant (Practice Lead). Hybrid arrangements available, full-time hours, NV1 clearance preferred. The role leads strategy, service delivery, and business development across government and private sectors.

You will guide a team of consultants, shape offerings across cyber operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and security engineering, and ensure high-quality engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity or IT experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated project management and service delivery.
• Team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Countersight’s cybersecurity practice.
• Drive service delivery, project planning, and risk management.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to business development.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of engagements with government and private sector clients.
• Design and refine security methodologies aligned with ISM/PSPF/DSPF requirements.
