Attorney-General's Department in Adelaide seeks a Senior Cyber Security & Risk Specialist to provide expert advice on cyber security strategy, governance and risk. You will work with executives and technology teams to identify threats, assess risks and implement practical controls that strengthen resilience across the department.

Role blends strategic influence with hands-on delivery, including assurance activities, incident response and security program delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cyber security, information security, risk management or assurance roles.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security governance, risk management frameworks and security controls.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and providing practical risk treatment recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cyber security advice to stakeholders across AGD.
• Lead cyber security risk assessments and recommend effective risk treatment strategies.
• Drive assurance activities that support compliance with SACSF and relevant standards.
• Develop and maintain cyber security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen threat management, vulnerability management and cyber security monitoring capabilities.
• Coordinate and support responses to cyber security incidents and emerging threats.
• Lead and deliver cyber security projects from initiation through to implementation and evaluation.
