Job summary

Software at Scale seeks an exceptional Senior Cyber Security Engineer to drive an engineering-led security transformation for a major financial ecosystem. You will own hardening of digital perimeters, design enterprise WAFs, implement advanced DDoS protection, and modern IAM/CIAM solutions.

You will automate threat defenses, collaborate with DevOps and development squads, and leverage Claude Code for security log analysis and remediation.

Qualifications

• Deep commercial experience in network security engineering, WAF operations, DDoS mitigation, cloud security, or enterprise IAM/CIAM.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation for security configurations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS, DNS and CDN concepts.
• Experience using AI tooling to augment security analysis and response.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support enterprise-grade WAF, DDoS protection, and bot management services.
• Architect CIAM solutions and modern authentication controls including MFA and federated protocols.
• Secure web applications and high-volume APIs against OWASP Top 10 threats.
• Develop automation scripts and leverage CI/CD to enforce security configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security by design.
