NDIA is seeking an EL2 Senior Cyber Security Specialist to lead complex design and risk assessments across NDIA technology functions. The role emphasizes design leadership, risk evaluation, and stakeholder management, with authority to resolve issues and advance NDIA interests.

The incumbent will drive cyber security architecture, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with PSPF, ISM, and related frameworks, collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security architecture and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of security controls and RBAC.
• Familiarity with cyber security standards and best practices.

Responsabilités

• Develop cyber security architecture and detailed design documents with RBAC for internal systems.
• Lead risk assessments for internal systems and external connections.
• Conduct compliance activities related to cyber security standards within the Agency.
• Resolve complex IT risks and contribute to NDIA technology risk reduction initiatives.
• Develop and apply IT security standards, policies, and controls.
• Support stakeholders to meet PSPF, ISM, and incident management requirements.
• Present findings to senior forums and project teams with clear technical/business language.
• Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders.
