Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Advisor / Security Assessor to support a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on conducting entity assessments, applying security controls, and engaging with stakeholders across ICT systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of cyber assessment experience, deep knowledge of security policies and IRAP frameworks, and strong communication skills to liaise with government teams in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated experience conducting entity assessments in a Cyber role.
• Strong technical knowledge of ICT systems, architectures, and security controls.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Understanding of the role of an IRAP Assessor and relevant security policies/frameworks.
