Job summary

Vectiq is seeking an experienced ASD-endorsed IRAP Assessor for a contract engagement in Canberra. The role involves performing IRAP assessments of secure internet gateway infrastructure within a government environment, evaluating security controls and ensuring compliance with Australian Government cybersecurity standards.

You will work as part of a team to identify risks and vulnerabilities, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen the organisation's overall security posture.

Qualifications

• ASD-endorsed IRAP Assessor status required.
• Experience conducting IRAP assessments of secure internet gateway infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of ISM, PSPF and Australian Government security standards.
• Familiarity with the IRAP CAF framework.
• Completion of IRAP 2.0 training or readiness for the exam.

• Undertake security assessments of a secure internet connectivity environment and identify risks.
• Provide actionable remediation recommendations to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.

Vectiq is seeking an experienced ASD-endorsed IRAP Assessor for an upcoming cybersecurity assessment engagement within a government environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a security professional with extensive experience in assessing secure network infrastructure, evaluating security controls and ensuring compliance with Australian Government cybersecurity standards.

The successful candidate will as part of a team, undertake security assessment of a secure internet connectivity environment, identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations to strengthen the organisation's overall security posture.

Key Requirements

• Current ASD endorsement as an IRAP Assessor and an active security clearance.
• Proven experience conducting IRAP assessments of secure internet gateway infrastructure – essential.
• Strong understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Australian Government Gateway Security Standard.
• Familiarity with the IRAP Common Assessment Framework (CAF).
• Completion of the updated IRAP 2.0 training or preparation for the upcoming examination.
