Job summary

Centorrino Technologies (CT) invites applications for Lead Cyber Analysts on a 12-month contract. You will work across diverse ICT environments, including cloud, legacy, and emerging tech, delivering security risk assessments and guidance.

You’ll develop SSPs, advise on designs per PSPF/ISM/Essential Eight, and present briefings to senior stakeholders. A Canberra-based role offering growth, training, and extensive security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience conducting cyber security risk assessments in a government environment.
• Strong experience across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT, AI technologies and complex systems.
• Current knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
• Strong understanding of networking infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering executive briefings.
• Australian Government security experience and the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments across ICT systems and applications.
• Assess Azure Cloud, legacy ICT, AI technologies from a cyber security perspective.
• Develop and review System Security Plans (SSPs) and SSP Annexes.
• Provide security guidance on application and system designs per PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
• Identify security risks, provide mitigations and strengthen overall security posture.
• Communicate cyber risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare and present security advice and briefings to senior and executive-level audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure solutions and maintain compliance with Australian Government security standards.
