Job summary

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Lead Cyber Analyst for a 12-month contract in Canberra, with the potential extensions. You will join a high-performing security team to assess risks across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT, and AI technologies, and to develop SSPs and compliance procedures under Australian Government standards.

You will communicate cyber risk to senior stakeholders, guide secure design choices, and ensure alignment with PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience conducting cyber security risk assessments within a government environment.
• Current knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
• Strong understanding of networking infrastructure.
• Australian Government security experience and the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments across ICT systems and applications.
• Assess Azure Cloud, legacy ICT, AI technologies and complex systems from a cyber security perspective.
• Develop and review security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and SSP Annexes.
• Provide security guidance on application and system designs in line with the PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
• Identify security risks, provide recommendations and help strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate cyber risks and solutions.
• Prepare and present security advice and briefings to senior and executive-level audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure solutions and maintain compliance with Australian Government security standards.
