About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our world class cyber security team. You will become part of an elite cyber operation at one of the globe’s most renowned logistics companies, where your contributions truly make a difference.The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Trend Micro security solutions, such as Deep Security, Apex One, Cloud One, and XDR. You will be part of a cross-functional team which manages a variety of security tooling, and you will be responsible for the implementation, management, monitoring, and optimization of Trend Micro technologies to protect our IT/OT/IoT environment from threats and vulnerabilities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work as part of the Frontline Ops (Cyber Protect) to manage security tools and capabilities based on the level of risk identified.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Trend Micro security products including but not limited to Apex One, Deep Security, Cloud One, and Vision One/XDR.
• Establish clear understanding and documentation of processes related to cyber security tooling.
• Support the integration and implementation of security controls for global Information Technology platforms, capabilities and applications to ensure adherence to critical business objectives, regulatory requirements and cyber security policies.
• Establish clear maintenance and support procedures for endpoint security capabilities.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of emerging threats, risks, technical innovations and security capabilities.
• Investigate incidents and provide solutions using security tools at his disposal.
• Optimize policies for endpoint, network, server, and cloud environments to reduce false positives and improve detection on endpoint tooling.
• Proactively engage with relevant stakeholders to reduce attack surface.
• Develop documentation, dashboards, and reports for security posture, trends, and compliance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for security issues related to security tooling.
• Participate in security audits, incident response, and post-incident reviews.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you can offer

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a professional IT/security role.
• Proven experience with Trend Micro products (Apex One, Deep Security, Cloud One, Vision One/XDR).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as malware analysis, intrusion detection, incident response etc.
• Experience with endpoint protection, server security, and cloud workload protection platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, and common security protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Knowledge of securing operational technology and industrial control systems.
• Willingness to cross-skill and support a wide range of cyber tooling.
• Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH).
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.)
• Trend Micro Certified Professional (e.g., TMCP for Apex One or Deep Security).
