Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Senior Curriculum Advisor to lead humanities curriculum policy and practice across F–12 and VCE programs. You will build strong relationships with schools, agencies and educators to support high-quality learning outcomes.

The role demands exceptional analytical and written communication skills, collaboration, and the ability to develop clear guidance that aligns curriculum, assessment and reporting from early years to senior secondary.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in education.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead humanities curriculum policy development and review across F-10, VCE, VET and related programs.
• Engage with schools, teacher associations and other education partners to support curriculum delivery.
• Provide clear guidance on curriculum, assessment and reporting from early years to senior secondary.
