All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services – Sunshine Coast QLD is seeking a Senior Cultural Heritage Officer for a temporary role estimated to last about two years. The position supports Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) projects with expert cultural heritage guidance across Indigenous and non-Indigenous matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in archaeology, anthropology, cultural heritage management, or equivalent.
• A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.
• Current Class C driver's licence is required.
• Current White Card or ability to obtain one.
• Governance and risk management knowledge is expected.
• Experience with cultural heritage assessments and reporting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Fulfil the role of Senior Cultural Heritage Officer on multiple project delivery teams.
• Provide cultural heritage advice and management services for Regional programs and QTRIP projects.
• Promote relationships with stakeholders, including Traditional Owner groups.
• Provide information and advice on legislation, policy, and procedures for cultural heritage management.
• Undertake cultural heritage assessments and prepare reports, management plans and agreements.
• Participate in cultural heritage field work including surveys, studies, monitoring and audits.
