As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an accomplished Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management, commercial strategy, and financial control on major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of cost planning, forecasting, and control across large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Lead estimating, benchmarking, and value engineering activities, ensuring best-in-class project outcomes.
  • Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes.
  • Manage post-contract functions including claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while influencing strategic project decisions.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise to junior cost professionals.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years’ cost management experience with strong exposure to infrastructure, transport, and/or resources projects.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian contract frameworks (AS, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead cost functions on complex projects, with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and the credibility to engage directly with senior stakeholders.
