Job summary

Turner & Townsend Australia is seeking an Associate Director in Cost Management to lead end-to-end cost management commissions on medium to large projects. You will be the day-to-day client interface, ensuring objectives are achieved and value is delivered across time, cost and quality.

The role requires a recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management with MRICS/AIQS accreditation and 10–15 years’ consultancy experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• MRICS/AIQS accreditation desirable
• 10–15 years' consultancy experience in construction
• Experience leading cost management on complex projects
• Strong procurement and value management knowledge
• People management in project or consultancy environments
• Understanding full project lifecycle from inception to post-completion
• Experience with CostX, CATO and CADMeas preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management commissions on medium to large, complex construction projects
• Act as day-to-day client interface, ensuring objectives are achieved
• Deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets across the full lifecycle
• Produce feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement strategies and tender documentation
• Manage tendering and procurement from prequalification to contract award
• Provide post-contract cost control including valuations, changes and reporting
• Mentor and manage cost management team members
• Contribute to business development through client engagement and bid support
