Job summary

Snowy Hydro in Cooma, NSW, seeks a Senior Cost Engineer to join our Project Controls team. You will drive cost estimation, forecasts and variance analysis to support successful delivery on major infrastructure projects.

You will review contractor reports, manage risks and changes, and contribute to board-ready reporting. A Bachelor's degree and project controls experience are required; Prism G2 experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, project controls, project management or quantity surveying.
• Senior capacity in project controls or cost control on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Prism G2 is highly preferred; SME for Prism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls, reporting and commercial aspects to manage cost, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify cost and time risks; advise on mitigation strategies and changes.
• Review contractor progress reports and advise on contract performance to prevent overruns.
• Develop dashboards and support critical corporate, board and shareholder reporting.
