Job summary

Agilitus in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to lead cost management for our largest Greenfield project. You will partner with project and client teams to ensure forecasts, budgets and earned value analyses are accurate and timely.

You will oversee cost control activities across the project lifecycle, manage change, review invoices, and mentor junior team members, with a focus on delivering projects within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cost control experience delivering projects across mining, minerals processing, construction or similar heavy industries.
• Sound knowledge of Contruent (Prism), Primavera and ERP systems highly regarded.
• Strong commercial background to manage project finances within budget.

Responsibilities

• Control cost activities including forecast to complete, variances, accruals and earned value analysis.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure PO alignment and budgeting accuracy.
• Review invoices, change management, and contractual commitments for compliance.
• Prepare project reports on cost, earned value and variance analysis.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
