Job summary

CBH Group is seeking a Senior Specialist – Cost Control to lead hands-on cost management for CBH’s project portfolio. You will prepare reports, update systems and deliver insights to guide project decisions.

You will apply your expertise in cost control and project reporting, balancing data quality, stakeholder engagement and timely financial insights. The role involves SAP/CMS processes, accruals and contract pricing within a dynamic WA-wide supply chain.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Project Controls, or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in cost control, project controls, project accounting or financial reporting.
• Excellent judgement in advising on cost risks and portfolio decisions.
• Advanced Excel with clear communication; SAP/CMS/Power BI/Power Query knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate project and portfolio cost reports (actuals, commitments, accruals, changes, variances, forecasts).
• Maintain cost registers, control sheets and reporting inputs with accurate data from project teams.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Finance and Commercial to resolve data quality issues and provide cost insights.
• Coordinate project funding appropriations, change updates and contract pricing across cost control systems.
• Process variations, progress claims and monthly accruals in CMS and SAP, with relevant assurance checks.
