Job summary

The Cost Control Manager will join the K2 team in the Perth office to establish and operate the project cost control, forecasting and reporting framework for the K2 project, ensuring accurate, timely and auditable cost information to support project decisions.

Located in Kwinana, this role partners with Commercial, Engineering and Construction teams to validate progress, manage forecasts, cost-to-complete and variances, and deliver governance dashboards for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of cost control experience on major EPC or D&C projects.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and project controls software.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost control systems with cost breakdown structures and budgets.
• Forecast, cost-to-complete, and variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor cost performance including labour, materials, subcontract and indirect costs.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Engineering and Construction teams on cost drivers.
• Support payment claims, cost reports and dashboards for governance.
• Provide cost input for variations, claims and extensions with Commercial Manager.
• Lead and mentor cost control personnel; ensure governance and audit trails.
