Job summary

Carta Law, part of the Carta APAC Contracts team, seeks a Paralegal to support high-volume, investment-related contracts and NDAs. You’ll assist in first-round drafting, prioritize timely turnaround, and collaborate with embedded AI tools to enhance efficiency.

Two or more years in transactional or corporate law, with strong communication and a pragmatic commercial approach, will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment that handles private capital matters across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transactional or corporate legal work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; concise drafting.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments.
• Commercial and legal pragmatism; know when to push back or finalize.
• Experience with private markets, fund structures, or investor onboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep contracts moving by managing intake and first-round markup of NDAs and related documents.
• Support UK lawyers with first-round drafting and ad hoc legal work to increase efficiency.
• Set up and coordinate client workflows, manage document portals, drive contracts to execution.
• Deliver crisp, commercially sound contract support with speed and accuracy.
