Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the Water & Wastewater Infrastructure programme in the South of England. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time and within budget, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and key client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have strong water infrastructure experience, NEC contracts knowledge and a proven track record in contract administration, budgeting and programme management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in water/wastewater or civil engineering.
• Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.
• Experience managing complex contracts and multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of contract administration, commercial controls, budgets and programme management.
• Experience with NEC contracts and change management.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Commitment to health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Relevant civil engineering qualifications with professional or safety accreditations.

Responsabilités

• Take overall responsibility for safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of the contract.
• Lead, motivate and develop project and operational teams to achieve programme objectives.
• Oversee planning, programming, resource allocation and coordination of multiple workstreams.
• Manage contract budgets, costs, financial performance and commercial risks.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, performance and productivity, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Manage contract variations, change control and contractual matters, including NEC processes where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, delivery standards and commercial performance.
• Provide clear reporting on programme progress, financial performance, risks and key performance indicators.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
