Job summary

Pacific Energy is seeking a Senior Contracts Leader to oversee the company’s contracts portfolio across sites nationwide. You will lead, negotiate, and award contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while driving procurement excellence.

You will develop complex, high-risk contracts, supervise a high-performing team, and implement improvements to contract management frameworks. A tertiary qualification and CIPS accreditation are desirable; permanent working rights in Australia are

• Demonstrated ability to lead a contracts team and manage high-risk contracts.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen across procurement activities.
• Experience interpreting industry contracts and policies to support strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the contracts team across multiple sites nationwide.
• Develop and manage complex, high-risk contracts and procurement documentation with precision.
• Ensure procurement and contract outcomes align with organisational objectives.
• Identify trends in contractual data to support informed decision-making.
• Apply innovative thinking to address contracting challenges and improve frameworks.
